Health, Babies and Fundraising
I mostly work in Indonesia, an amazing and diverse land, do come, and I’ll show you around. Unfortunately Indonesia is also a developing land, not without many problems. I get to see some of these first hand, as I take my groups to visit Yayasan Bumi Sehat in Bali, a health NGO, who provide free, hygienic, culturally aware health services with a mission to reduce maternal and child mortality. According to the World Health Organisation, Indonesia has one of the highest maternal and infant mortality rates in South East Asia.
I support this project through The Intrepid Foundation, who match dollar for dollar guests donation (with a yearly limit). They do great, and much needed work. I thought my trip could be a good platform to raise some funds and awareness for the project, so have set up a page on The Intrepid Foundation Website for donations.
Please let me make it clear, I am not asking anyone to fund my holiday, but would like to make it an opportunity to promote The Intrepid Foundation, and the great work done by their partner, Bumi Sehat. But do please give generously to my campaign! Click on the links to find out more about the good work done by Bumi Sehat and to donate via my Intrepid Foundation page.
